Booking & Securing Your Appointment

To secure an appointment, it will be necessary to:

 

  • Enter your card details into your Fresha account, however no charge will be made to your card unless you fail to attend your appointment; cancel within 48 hours or arrive 10 or more minutes late for your appointment (please see our 48 Hour Cancellation/No Show Fee policy).

 

  • All new clients booking single treatment appointments will be required to pay a non-refundable booking fee of 25% of the total cost of your appointment via bank transfer.  This must be paid within 12 hours of requesting your appointment.  This fee will be discounted off of the total cost of your treatment.  Failure to pay your non-refundable booking fee will result in your appointment being cancelled.

 

  • If you are booking multiple treatments for one appointment you may be required to pay a 50% non-refundable booking fee (following the process outlined above) to secure your appointments.  

 

  • Christmas appointments - To protect my business at a time of high demand and ensure the most effective use of studio time, ALL bookings made between 12 and 24 December will require a 25% non-refundable booking fee to secure them.  Our 48 Hour Cancellation/No Show Fee policy will apply.

 

Please note - booking fees are non-refundable.  If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice; do not attend your appointment or are 10 or more minutes late for your appointment your booking fee will be retained, in full, by the studio to pay for the studio time you have chosen to reserve.  The balance of your appointment will also become payable (see our 48 Hour Cancellation/No Show Fee policy).  If you do not agree with this policy then ARK may not be the studio for you.

48 Hour Cancellation/No Show Fee

I require at least 48 hours notice from any clients that need to cancel.  100% of your treatment cost will become due if…

 

  • You cannot provide this period of notice.

  • You fail to arrive for your appointment.

  • You arrive more than 10 minutes late for your appointment. 

 

This will take the form of your pre-paid, non-refundable booking fee plus any outstanding balance.  Payment will be required at the time of cancellation/no show and unless paid by another means will be taken via the card registered with your Fresha account as per my terms of business (see our Booking & Securing your appointment policy).

 

This policy is in place to protect my small business - it would not be possible to refill cancelled/missed appointments in less than 48 hours and pays for studio time that you have chosen to reserve.

Early/Late Arrival

  • Please arrive for your appointment on time and text the studio on 07935911184 to let us know you are here.  We will let you know when to come into the studio as we may be with another client, preparing for your appointment or even tending to personal matters.  

  • If you arrive early it may be necessary to wait in your car until we are ready for you.

  • If you are late, please note that the ‘missing’ time will come out of your allocated treatment time, we will not run late to make this time up as this would be detrimental to the next client’s experience.

  • If you are over 10 minutes late your appointment may need to be rebooked and you will still be charged in full for the appointment (please see our 48 Hour Cancellation/No Show Fee policy).

No Audience

In line with my insurance regrettably children and/or pets are not permitted within the studio.  In addition friends and family should not accompany you to appointments unless by prior arrangement.

Infilling Other Techs Work

To maintain ARK’s high standards regrettably, as a rule, we prefer not to infill or remove another technician’s work.  Ideally removal should be undertaken by the applying technician prior to visiting ARK for a new set.  Should this not be possible, a removal and full set would be required (for all lash and nail treatments), however we reserve the right to refuse service upon inspection of your current set.

Patch Testing

Patch tests are required for specified treatments (please refer to the ARK web site for details) at least 48 hours prior to treatment.  Failure to attend your patch test appointment will result in the cancellation of your treatment appointment and the forfeit of your non-refundable booking fee to pay for studio time that you have chosen to reserve.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are available for an amount or a treatment.  Vouchers are valid for 6 months and cannot be redeemed for cash.  To purchase a gift voucher please email us - info@arkofbeauty.co.uk
